Due to the advantages of trees to the people, denizens of Ghathashi block under Pughoboto subdivision planted tree saplings with bamboo fencing in different villages on 21 April 2022.

The drive was led by the officer in charge and this program was taken up under LADP. The participants included women group, teachers, students, etc. In a phase-wise manner, it will be covered in all the 24 villages as per their requirement and availability of saplings.

The villages which took part on Thursday included Ghathashi, Tukuliqa, Iphonumi, Sheshulimi, Awohumi, Mishilimi, and Iqhanumi.
