To make a greener environment and beautify the villages under Pughoboto sub-division, a tree plantation drive was carried out at Tsaphimi Village, Pughoboto on 2nd May 2022 under the LADP programme.

APRO Pughoboto, Mhathung Ngullie, the officer-in-charge of the village drive, highlighted the ongoing project and acknowledged the participants for their co-operation in the tree plantation drive. He encouraged everyone to nurture the saplings and develop a sense of responsibility to look after the trees. 

Tsaphimi Village Chairman, Ikato Assumi who briefed about the program also expressed his gratitude to the officer-in-charge and the participants for their support and cooperation. Villagers from Tsaphimi village took an active part in the plantation drive.

The tree plantation drive at the Pughoboto assembly constituency started in 2014, under the initiative of MLA, Y. Vikheho Swu.
