Tsukhenyie cum 72nd Youth Day started on 24th April and will culminate on 27th April 2021 at Pfutseromi village Pfutsero. The festival is being organised by Pfutseromi Youth Organisation.

On 24th April the inaugural programme was attended by Neiba Kronu, Minister for Planning &Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs as the guest speaker. He highlighted on the JJM water project and also stressed on the management of developmental infrastructure based on agriculture, pisciculture and coffee plantation and that it is needed to improve with systematic and dedicated agriculture operations. On tourism sector he said that the possibility of tourism with proper experiment and management is a must. He also encouraged the youths to shift from government jobs to other private avenues and entrepreneurship.

Earlier the Minister inaugurated the Pfutseromi village blacktopped approach road and unfurled the Pfutseromi Youth Organisation flag declaring the Tsukhenyie festival and 72nd Youth Day open.

The inaugural programme was chaired by NeichupeKapfo, Asst. Prof. Pfutsero Government college while the welcome address was given by Lhiwepelo Metro. Presidential address was delivered by Kekhrozulo Ritse.

25th April will be a fishing day, 26th April Khel feast and on the final day 27th April as wrestling day where Mhathung Khuvung, Branch manager, Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Pfutsero will be the guest of honour.
