TTC CLEANEST WARD AWARD FUNCTION 2022 HELD

The Tuensang Town Council Cleanest Ward Award function 2022 was held at Town Hall Tuensang on 2nd August 2022.

For the cleanest ward awards, Hakushang ward and Old Medical ward were adjudged first and second place respectively, and the special award for "best performer in terms of effort" was given to TTC. President Hakushang ward and president Old Medical ward also shared testimonial speeches.

Special guest of the event, Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant congratulated the awardee wards and acknowledged the efforts of wards and TTC in achieving the "Best performer in terms of effort".

Cleanliness should be a habit in itself and everyone should try to inculcate the habit so that everyone can contribute to the cleanliness of our district, he said.

He also encouraged the gathering to stop depending solely on government but to contribute when it comes to cleanliness. "Nagas generally don't own their town and properties but rather rely on third parties for the responsibilities."

            He encouraged all to own their town so that the set target can be achieved. He advocated that trying for excellence and hard work/effort is the only answer to achievements.

ADC & Administrator TTC Tuensang, Thungchanbemo expressed the need for active participation and contributions of students, community, church, and unions for achieving the goal.
