On November 15, 2023, the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was inaugurated in Tuensang District's Sangsangnyu Block, with events held at Tuensang Village and Ngangpong Village. The Yatra featured beneficiaries from NSRLM, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ujjwala Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana sharing their experiences.

During the event, attendees collectively pledged for the success of the Yatra. The program included cultural presentations and the felicitation of accomplished women from both villages. On-the-spot services were provided by the H&FW Department, NKY Tuensang, IOC Ltd, and DHEW Tuensang. The Nodal officer for Sangsangnyu Block, Toking Yimchunger (EAC), and Ebou Chang (BDO Sangsangnyu Block) led the efforts.
