Tuensang District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on 9th September 2022 at DC Conference Hall Tuensang, chaired by Kumar Ramnikant, DC and Vice Chairman DPDB Tuensang.

The members discussed on the immediate restoration of National Highway 202, and deliberated on the condition of Present Bailey Bridge at Dikhu river between Tuensang and Mokukchung which is not motorable for heavy goods vehicles. In this regard, the Board opined and agreed upon further advisory circular for Longmisa route towards Tuensang as one way route, and empty trucks and other vehicles through NH 202. DC, Tuensang also requested the Police Department Tuensang to deploy traffic police from Kidding Junction during the bridge restoration period.

ADC and Administrator, TTC, Thungchanbemo Tungoe requested all the Heads of Offices and their staff to attend the interactive session with stakeholders on segregation at source and plastic waste management with the Living for Environment (LIFE) NGO on 10th of September 2022 at Town Hall, Tuensang.

For the registration of Welfare Society Anganba and Chang Sports Association, the Board discussed and agreed to forward to the Government for further necessary action.
