Tuensang District Planning and Development Board meeting was held at DC’s Conference Hall Tuensang on 11th October 2022 and the meeting was chaired by Kumar Ramnikant Vice Chairman DP&DB and Deputy Commissioner Tuensang.
The members attained in the meeting were updated on the 50% repair completion of the Dikhu Bridge between Tuensang and Mokukchung road by Executive Engineer National Highways. He also updated the meeting outcome of PWD (NH) and NHIDCL regarding the zero point to 95 Kms toward Tuensang. He informed about the missing bolts and nuts of the bridges between Tuensang to Mokukchung for which an FIR has been filed at Police Station Longkhim.
Nikshey Mitra a programme to put an end to Tuberculosis in India calls for community support in eradicating TB, for this programme, the CMO office also called the DP&DB members to come forward in assisting and aiding the 181 existing TB patients in the district.
Deputy Commissioner Tuensang also encouraged all the district HoDs to impart departmental practical education to the school students. He also asked them to report on the programme initiated by the departments in the schools at every DP&DB Meeting.
DC informed all the Heads of Offices to get ready with the employment list and list of departmental vehicles for election purposes.
DC also invited them to the launching programme of the Chief Ministers Health Insurance Schemes which will be held at the DC Office. The members were also informed about the forthcoming interdepartmental sports week which will be held from 22nd October onwards, the events will include competitions in Table Tennis, Badminton, Carrom, and Chess.
