Tuensang District Task Force for COVID -19 held a meeting at DC's conference hall, Tuensang on 24th February 2022 with DC and Chairman DTF Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant as the chairman.

The members of the forum expressed concern about the resistance of people to take the second vaccination creating a gap between vaccination figures between the first and second dose, the house decided to find out the reasons causing the resistance.

          The house discussed collecting the data of teachers in the district and the attendance records of the eligible students who are yet to be vaccinated.

          The Chief Medical Officer, Tuensang expressed the need to conduct four health camps at targeted villages with COVID-19 vaccination simultaneously and the DTF to assist the said camp.The house was updated with the COVID status and vaccination status of the district.

          The district immunization officer updated the house on the IMI and IPPI vaccination drive in the district, the Chairman DTF advised the concerned department to include COVID vaccination along with the drive.
