Tuensang District Task Force on COVID-19 held a meeting at DC’s Conference Hall, Tuensang on 12th July, 2021 under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, District Task Force COVID-19, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS.
The members deliberated on the 2nd unlock guidelines and the following were decided:
- The shopkeepers to display their vaccination status while opening their shops.
- Online education for lower/primary classes not very conducive for the learning. Therefore, the DTF decided to direct schools to select teachers for preparing lessons in the form of videos. Resources like DC’s conferences hall to be provided for conducting classes.
- Medical department was directed to ensure distribution of vaccination card to all the wards.
- The vaccination Mela to be held every Sunday.
- Shops selling essential and non-essential goods and services to open in alternating days. An order in this regard shall be issued by the Administrator, Tuensang Town Council.
