Acting on specific input, the Wokha Police led by SDPO and O/C Wokha Police Station apprehended two drug peddlers and recovered 19 grams of suspected Brown Sugar, 649 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon, 70 tablets of nitrozepam and 280 tablets of Alprozelom on 22nd October 2020.

In this connection two persons have been arrested from Wokha town, identified as Lichumo Ezung (33 years) S/O. Evothung, village of Longsachung and Ethel Humtsoe (38 years) D/O. Chichamo Humtsoe of Elumyo village. Two separate cases has been registered Vide. Wokha PS/Case. NO. 42/2020 and case. NO 43/2020 under relevant Sections of Law for further investigation.
