Grand Finale of the ‘UJJWAL BHARAT, UJJWAL BHAVISHYA' power @2047 Bijilee Mahotsav under AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV (AKAM) across all the districts in the country was held on 30th July 2022. The virtual event by PM Modi was attended by dignitaries, government officials, and others at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Chumoukidema.

This program was being held for a whole week starting from 25th till 30th July 2022 all over the states of India.

Electricity is being provided to every village and every household, where 2 crore 86 lakh households were given electricity connection under the SAUBHAGYA Scheme within 18 months. This was the world's largest electrification drive. A pledge was taken at COP 21 in Paris that by 2030, 40% of the electricity generation capacity will be from non-fossil fuel sources, that is, without Carbon emissions. 

Modi urged the people to save energy, and added that the Energy sector plays a big role in the progress of the country and contributes to better living and ease of doing business.
