As part of the 75 Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Additional Secretary for Youth Resources and Sports, Anthony Ngully NCS flagged off the Unity Run cum culminating Clean India Campaign 2.0 from the Second World War tank area to NSF office premises in the state Capital, Kohima on 31st October 2022.

Anthony, in his short speech, said the Nation is celebrating to Commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31st October through this Unity Run irrespective of cast, creed, and religion. He highlighted how the 'Iron man of India' united India when it was divided into many Princessly states. He also administered the pledge of the National Unity Day to preserve the unity, integrity, and security of the Nation and also strived hard to spread this message to the countrymen.

The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Nagaland, which was participated by NSS, NYKS, and volunteers.

Earlier, marking National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, the participants also clean up the litter in the WW II Tank surroundings- an iconic place in Kohima.

Director YR&S, Akumla Chuba NCS, and other government officials were also present in the programme. Nagaland state Liaison officer Zeneikho delivered the welcome and introductory speech.
