The University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has issued a notification for required to attend the office regularly w.e.f. 20th April, 2020.

“Offices of the Government of India, its Autonomous/ Subordinates Offices will remain open, as mentioned below:-

Other Ministries and Departments, and offices under their control, are to function with 100% attendance of Deputy Secretary and level above that, Remaining Officers and staff to attend upto 33% as per requirement.”

All Bureau Heads have been requested to chalk-out a roster plan of other officials in their respective Bureau and ensure the presence of staff upto 33% as per requirement, on any given working day and the remaining officials/ staff will continue to work from home.

The UGC Order may also be treated as duty pass to be produced before the concerned authorities as and when required allowing for attending the Government duties. All Officers/ Official are mandatorily required to carry their official Identity Card.
