A sensitisation program and vaccination drive was carried out at Pungro town on 28th June 2021, under the initiative of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pungro, Abhinav Shivam, IAS.

The ADC said that under the initiative of Administration, Medical Team and with the cooperation from the ward Chairmen and public leaders doubts and apprehension of the people spread on social media could be addressed. A sensitisation program was held after which a vaccination drive followed. Shivam said that after Pungro town, they will be targeting the villages for vaccination.

During the drive, a total of 205 beneficiaries availed the vaccine. The ADC lauded former YTC Chairman, Shelimthong;   YTC, Executive Chairman, Makhezo; PPF, Khongsu;    2nd Hd. GB Shehoto;   Mission Ward Chairman, Shojiba and all the ward Chairmen Pungro town for constant support during the vaccination drive.
