Bhandari Block Task Force (BTF) on COVID-19 carried out a vaccination drive cum health camp at inter-state border villages Mongphio and Lishuyo in Woka district on 8th August 2021.

During the programme, ADC Bhandari, Tiameren Chang, NCS explained on the importance and the benefits of the COVID-19 vaccine and said that every eligible individual of 18 years and above should avail the opportunity to secure health and safety. He urged the gathering not to believe in rumors circulating on social media.

The ADC assured that COVID-19 vaccine has no side effect and it is just like any other vaccines for diseases such as measles, chickenpox and rubella. He also said that the government officials and frontline workers were the first vaccine beneficiaries who are strong and working tirelessly for the society.
