A video conference with all the Deputy Commissioners & District Election Officers, Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, and Superintendents of Police regarding poll preparedness for the General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2023 was convened by the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland with his team of officers on 24th November 2022 from 11:30 AM onwards. The Chief Electoral Officer apprised all the DEOs and SPs by saying that thorough preparedness should be undertaken in all aspects relating to the election. The State Police Additional DG, Renchamo Kikon who was also present in the video conference briefed about the requisition of CAPF, logistic arrangements, communication & deployment plan of security. The DC & DEOs and SPs of each district also shared their preparation for the upcoming General Election and their concerns and issues.
