A meeting for tree plantation drive for villages under Pughoboto Sub-division was held with the villagers, church representative and others at DB Court hall, Pughoboto on 23rd March 2022.

MLA, Y. Vikheho Swu said the tree plantation for Pughoboto Sub-division has been carried out since 2014. He stated that he wants to complete the beautification by this year and that saplings will be provided only for beautification of the villages and surroundings. He requested to all the villages to identify for the recreational center/park.

Swu urged the people to take the responsibility of nurturing the saplings. He asked the participants to make arrangement teams for digging, plantings, fencing and watering. Plantation drive will be carried out from 20th to 30th April 2022 in all the villages simultaneously.

ADC Tiamern Chang expressed his gratitude to Y Vikheho Swu for the initiative. He urged that everyone should know the importance of sustainability. The ADC also assured the villages of his support for the project.
