The District Level Committee for Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan organised a webinar on "Mental Health and Substance Abuse" on 22nd October 2020 at Deputy Commissioner office in NationalInformatic centre (NIC) room, Mon.

The resource persons were Rini Ghose Director of Serendip Guardians and Rugozevou Khate Phsychiatric Social Worker of Serendip Guardians.Serendip guardians is one of the few NGOs in Nagaland working in the field of mental health.They aim to create awareness on mental health and advocate for improving psychological support for individuals and provide counselling to individuals/groups and also offer programmes to deal with mental health.

The webinar was attended by 26 master volunteers of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Mon district.Master volunteers have been selected from various fields including education,student bodies and NGOs working in the related sectors.These master volunteers will be spreading message of the Abhiyaan and implementing various activities under the programme.The webinar was also made opento any other interested individuals.
