The Mahila Shakti Kendra, Kiphire Weekly Friday Bazaar was officially re-opened on 19th February, 2021 at Bamboo Hut, KTC Market Complex. The District Administration, DLCW- Mahila Shakti Kendra, Kiphire Town Council in convergence with National Rural Livelihoods Mission successfully mobilized and invited various SHGs and women from Longmatra Block and Sitimi block as the first phase to sell agro products at the weekly Friday bazaar. Apila Sangtam, President, Akehda Sangtamlaru Thsingmujang took the honour of inauguration the weekly Friday Bazaar.

            The weekly market under the banner of MSK is aimed at facilitating women SHGs from all eight blocks on rotation basis to sell their produce at the urban market with the help of the network of SHGs under the NRLM.

            The MSK weekly market aims at providing platform to the rural farmers by providing transport to sell their produce at the nearest urban towns like Kiphire and Pungro.
