The World Help Group (WHG) online platform for Mon District was launched on 22nd May 2020 at National Informatics Centre (NIC), Video Conference room in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Mon.
Nimith Agarwal, the founder of WHG said the Foundation has developed an online platform entirely dedicated to cater to the needs of the individuals and families whose livelihoods were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic on essential requirements such as food, rations and basic medicines. The platform has been developed by the WHG foundation in response to the COVID-19 crisis. At present, the platform is in India and 15 other countries. This is the first of its kind in Nagaland. Mon District Administration has tied up with WHG foundation to ensure that the poor and downtrodden communities get the help and assistance through this development.
Civil societies also attended the programme where Molosangla EAC chaired the program and vote of thanks was pronounced by Vineet Kumar, IAS.
