WITHDRAWAL OF EXTRA GOVERNMENT VEHICLES ATTACHED TO MINISTER, ADVISOR, MLA

In view of the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct for the ensuing General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2023, the Chief Electoral Officer Nagaland has directed to the state that there is a total ban on the use of Government vehicles for Electioneering purposes. It is also mentioned that Ministers, Advisors, MLAs, etc. are entitled to use their official vehicles only for commuting from their official residence to their office for official work. In this regard, it is to request your kind authority to kindly direct all the Administrative Heads of Department and Heads of Department of the Government of Nagaland to immediately withdraw all the extra vehicles attached to their respective Minister, Advisor, etc.

This is to avoid misuse of Government vehicles for campaigning/electioneering during the election period
