Wokha District Administration and Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), distributed emergency relief like rice and pulses to migrant workers/labourers, and daily wage earners whose livelihood income have been affected by the lockdown in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The distribution was done on 5th April 2020 at Town hall Wokha under the supervision of District Administration, Police, Wokha District Chamber of Commerce and Industries, officials from ADS and District Project Associate, DPA (DDMA) Wokha. 458 (Four hundred and fifty eight) migrant workers, daily wage earners and 14 (fourteen) stranded students were provided relief.

District Administration, informed that relief materials will be distributed in all the sub-divisions, wards, colonies and villages in the district in coordination with the concerned authorities/councils in the coming days.
