National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Kohima in collaboration with District Skill Committee (DSC), Peren District Administration, DLCW MSK Peren under BBBP and Jalukie Battalion Assam Rifles organised a workshop cum skill training for women at Women Welfare Hall, Jalukie Town on 27th April, 2022 with NIELIT Kohima, Joint Director, Daniel Meren and Technical Officer, Moasunep Kichu as the resource persons.

It was held under the project "Capacity building in IECT including training in digital skill sets and current industry demanding technologies for various sections of society in the NE States".

During the programme, the participants were made aware on the topics: use of mobile applications for digital payment, e-governance services, IT applications, digital marketing and cyber security.

Short speeches were also delivered by EAC Jalukie, C. Wangan Phom; Skill Development Officer, DSC Peren, Rameez Roshan and Major M.N Mangancha.
