A full-day workshop on First Level Checking of EVMs & VVPATs for District Election Officers and Dy. District Election Officers ( FLC-in-charge / FLC Supervisors) organized by the Election Commission of India in connection with the upcoming General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2023 was conducted on 8th October 2022 at Conference Hall, Forest Office Complex, Dimapur.

            Resource persons for the workshop were O. P. Sahani, Under Secretary, Pawan Bhattar, Section Officer, and Satish Kumar, Asst. Section Officer from the ECI and R. Mhathung, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer & National Level Master Trainer for EVM-VVPAT. Presentations on EVM Technical & Administrative Safeguard, FLC Process, doubt clearing on entire management, and handling of EVMs/VVPATs in the Election process were conducted by the resource persons.

           EVM/VVPAT Engineers from Electronic Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), Hyderabad led by P C Mandal, DGM, and Technical Officers Vadicherla Dinesh Datta and Shri Sourav Mandal gave a presentation on the use of Pre FLC Unit (PFLCU) before the conduct of FLC process, demonstrations on Symbol loading in VVPAT using Symbol Loading Unit (SLU) and hands-on demonstration on EVMs & VVPATs.
