Leangkonger Village Students' Union led by its President, Torepkiu organised plantation of saplings under the theme "For Better Tomorrow" to mark the World Environment Day on 5th June 2021.

At Y. Anner Village, the Village Council and Students’ Union observed the World Environment Day by planting trees along the road near GMS compound.

Self Employed Women Association (SEWA), Shamator led by Mobiliser, SEWA Shamator, Tsurila Yimchunger took part in observing the World Environment Day at Shamator.
