WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATED IN TENING

Along with the rest of the World, the Tening sub-division observed World Environment Day on 5th June 2023. The occasion was organized by Tening Students Union Nagaland (TSUN) in collaboration with Forest Department Tening. All four schools of Tening- Baptist High School, Zeliangrong Heraka School, SFS School, and Govt Higher Secondary School Tening participated along with the civil body representatives.

After the plantation drive, a short speech was delivered by Imliwabang Aier, EAC Tening on the theme- BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION.

Saplings were provided by Forest Department. The plantation drive was carried out from Government Higher Secondary School to the New ADC Complex compound.
