World Environment Day was observed by the staff of Nagaland House, New Delhi at 29, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Road, New Delhi on 5th June 2022.
Addl. Chief Secretary and Chief Resident Commissioner Jyoti Kalash highlighted the importance of World Environment Day, global warming, and the importance of protection of nature.
The staff planted fruit trees around both the buildings at R.K Puram and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Road. Fruits trees included avocado, mango, mulberry, and others. Officials including JRC, Sarita Yadav, IAS; DRC Wennyei Konyak, and Jacob Rapheal, INT Inspector attended the programme.
