To commemorate the World Environment Day 2022, a tree plantation drive was jointly carried out on the 4th of June 2022 by Nagaland Police and Noklak Range, Tuensang Forest Division where 2000 seedlings of fruits, ornamental, and assorted species were planted throughout Noklak.

Seedlings were also distributed to D.C. Office, CMO Office, Khiamniungan Students' Union, and the public in general. A total of 4800 seedlings were distributed on account of WED.

Samom Khelen Singh IFS, Divisional Forest Officer, Tuensang thanked Pritpal Kaur (IPS), Superintendent of Police, Noklak for taking up the noble cause of plantation drive along with the Forest Department. He also expressed gratitude to the Administration, CMO Office, Student Organization, and the public in general for actively participating in the plantation drive during the observation of World Environment Day, 2022.
