World Malaria Day was observed at Changtongya Town on 26th April, 2021 at Dobashi Court with the theme "Reaching the Zero Malaria Target".

Medical Officer, C.H.C Changtongya, Dr Imtimongba highlighted how malaria is spread and how it can be prevented. He encouraged the gathering to use mosquito repellent and LLIM mosquito net regularly. He urged upon everyone to keep their surrounding clean and to remove all stagnant water, which invites mosquito breeding.

Short speeches were also delivered by SDO (C) Changtongya, Rorheu Peseyie and by All Ward Chairman Changtongya, Putinungba Jamir. The programme was chaired by M.O (Ayush) C.H.C Changtongya, Limasashi.
