The 57th Yimkhiung Akheru Arihako (YAA) General Conference began at Pungro, Kiphire on 10th January 2023 under the theme “Breaking through to excellence: Facing the Yimkhiung Future Together".10th - 12 Jan 2023,

The inaugural session was graced by Advisor to Chief Minister & Secretary General, NDPP, Abu Metha as the special guest and Advisor, IPR & Village Guards, S. Keoshu Yimkhiung as the guest of honour. Metha also unveiled a monolith in commemoration of the 57th Yimkhiung Akheru Arihako (YAA). The General Conference is scheduled to be held from 10th-12th January 2023.
