Advisor Sericulture, Excise and Minority Affairs who is also the Chairman, DPDB Dimapur, Zhaleo Rio, expressed appreciation to the members of the Dimapur District Task Force, for surpassing 100 % vaccination in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
Chairing the Dimapur DPDB meeting for the month of November on 9th November 2021, Zhaleo Rio conveyed that the High Power Committee during its meeting at Kohima, has also commented on the achievements made by Dimapur DTF, frontline workers, officers and all line departments with regard to the successful vaccination drive in the District. Informing that the district has achieved beyond 120% vaccination in the urban areas, the chairman DPDB Dimapur encouraged the members for achieving 100% even in the rural areas. He further requested the DTF and the officers for motivating and educating the public on the benefits of vaccination to ensure that the public get both doses of vaccination. "Let us take this message as our official duty," Zhaleo urged.
The Advisor also extended appreciation to the members for attending the meeting in full strength and sought for their cooperation, participation and support even in the days to come.
Reviewing the last meeting minutes, the House recommended and approved the proposal for establishing a Paramedical Institute by Life Square Society at Neiphruolie Colony, Chumukedima Village, basing on the satisfactory joint verification report conducted by EAC Seithekiema, GBs and CMO Dimapur. The members also approved the proposal for changing the Nomenclature of Excel Children School to Dzuvian School.
The agenda of the day included formation of District Level Screening and Verification Committee for society registration cases which was mooted by the Chairman and Vice Chairman, DPDB Dimapur. Towards this, DC Dimapur explained that the committee would be headed by ADC, concern area administrative officers, members from concern departments, whereby the committee would screen and verify the society registration proposals before putting up at the DPDB meeting to which the House agreed and approved. Other agenda including adoption of Vihokhu village to Model Village, Change of nomenclature from Logos School to Footprints Academy, Naming of Play Ground at Nihokhu EAC headquarter were asked to complete certain formalities before approval from the House.
Departmental activities were presented by Sericulture and Fisheries department. The two departments explained the projects undertaken, ongoing activities and the different programmes with the aid of power point presentation.
