The 111 Bn BSF Satakha under Zunheboto district carried out civic action programmeon 15th March and 17th March 2023 at Bn Hq Satakha and CI Laniye Bridge Ukhrul district Manipur in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time. 

The battalion in its endeavour distributed water storage tanks (under broad items head - drinking water, basic precautions and system of storage) to Shoipu, Sukhai, Chishilimi, Ghukhuyi, Lukhai, Awohumi and Satakha villages, sports items (under broad items head -sports facilities)  to Chisholimi, Khughutomi, Vishepu, Mudutsugho (Kilomi), Kivikhu village and Government Higher Secondary School, Satakha,  stationaries (under broad items head - human resources development to include imparting of vocational straining, conduct of education excursions by the students to places  of national interest,  organised career counselling training and Coaching  etc.) to Government Middle School, Satakha  and medical equipment (under broad items head -   running of health, medicals, dental, veterinary campus to include the provisioning of medical equipments and stores etc to existing hospitals /nursing homes ) of PHC Jessami and sub centre- health and Wellness Center Losami.

The GBs and the villagers expressed their appreciation to the 111Bn and assured that their gestures will go a long way in maintaining cordial relations and harmony with the local populace thereby enabling the Bn to discharge its assigned mandate in an effective and efficient manner.
