1st Quarterly DDMA meeting was held on 12th May 2023 at DC’s Conference Hall, Noklak under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DDMA Noklak Arikumba.

DC Noklak Arikumba briefed the members on the pre-monsoon preparedness and mentioned the need to work as a team.

Departmental monsoon preparedness was presented by PWD (R&B), PHED, District Hospital, and Food & Civil Supply. The various departments highlighted their monsoon preparedness and the challenges faced by them like shortages of manpower, equipment, and machinery.

District Project Associate, DDMA Noklak Thanghiu presented a brief review on Monsoon preparedness.

During the meeting, the house also constituted a committee for review and drafting of the District Disaster Management Plan.
