Altogether 623 stranded people left for their own district from Dimapur on 8th May 2020. All the stranded people were ferried by buses, arranged by district administration after going through all the procedures such as medical screening.

A total of 20 buses that left from State Badminton Stadium Dimapur included,1 bus with 36 passengers to Zunheboto, 2 buses for wokha- and 1 bus for Bhandari with a total of 108 passengers, 2 buses to Peren with 43 passengers, 1 bus each to Mokokchung and Changtongya with total of 64 passengers, 2 buses to Tuensang with 60 passengers, 2 buses for Phek and 1 bus for Meluri- with a total of 98 passengers, 2 buses Tobu with 82 passengers, 4 buses for Kiphire with 99 passengers and 1 bus to Kohima with 33  passengers.
