The 6th edition of Peren Winter Carnival Cum Orchid festival which began on 6th December 2023 at carnival village, Tepuiki River site was culminated on 10th Dec 2023 with Deputy Commissioner, Peren, Vineet Kumar, IAS as the special guest.

Vineet Kumar in his brief speech lauded the organising committee, Progressive Peren and team for organising the events in grand manner and shared his experience and thoughts he achieved from the  program. DC also spoke on the importance of sustainability and encouraged Progressive Peren the Organiser of the program to continue to set goal and make it more grandeur in the days to come to turn the potential into reality. Kumar urged the people present to work harder in order to make the town a potential town. As the festive season begins Vineet Kumar called the gathering to share happiness and joy.

Various competition witnesses in the program were catapult shooting, pork fat eating, Tug of war and volleyball final match.

The culmination program was hosted and chaired by  President, PTWCU ,Gaigwang Hegeu &  Asst. Professor, Peren Govt. College ,Paukizone Meriam   while President PTYO & Convenor, Organising committee, Ngautube Chamlak  and Secretary  Organising committee, Lungrahei Herie delivered Keynote address and Vote of thanks respectively.
