ADC & Chief Executive Officer of Mokokchung Municipal Council, Atsungba Walling in a circular has informed to all concerned that MMC will be conducting the yearly Dog Registration cum Vaccination Drive for the year 2025 - 26 in the town on 26th & 27th September 2025. The vaccination drive will be carried out in collaboration with the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services and AWUM. In this connection the following guidelines are being issued for compliance:-
The timing of registration and renewal cum exercise will commence from 8:00 AM. All respective wards are requested to arrange necessary facilities. Each ward shall also assign two persons to work with the team of A.H & Veterinary Service Department. Respective wards chairman will sign the registration card for renewal.
As discussed in the meeting regarding the Dog tags, it has been noted that many pet owners are not using the tag properly, hence a new dog tag will be issued from the office freely for this year and for those who have misplaced/lost the same can be obtained from the office on cash payment. However, for those new registration and lost of card are directed to collect the same from the office on or before 25th of September 2025.
New registration/ Renewal/Vaccination fees and utilisation charges shall be as usual.
The detail of schedule date for Salangtem, Alempang, Alongmen, Sangtemla, ARKONG, Penli, Dilong Tongdentsuyong and Sungkomen will be held on 26th September 2025. While for Yimyu, Lijabalijen, Mongaenbai, Kumlong, Kichutip, Aongza, Merepkong, Majalikong and Arrang will be held on 27th September 2025.
