Through the condolence message addressed to Alila Imkong, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed a deep feeling of grief and sadness at the passing away of Imkong L Imchen, Advisor of Information & Public Relations, and Soil & Water Conservation, Government of Nagaland, in Guwahati on 11th November 2025.
The Prime Minister said his demise is an irreparable loss that cannot be put into words, and the contributions of Lt. Imkong L Imchen Ji in various capacities, whether in governance-related roles or as a people's representative, reflects his dedication and commitment to the people of Nagaland.
Blessed with fine organisational skills, the dedication and commitment with which he served to strengthen the Party in Nagaland over many decades will always be remembered by the people, he added.
The PM stated that Lt. Imkong will be deeply missed by family, friends and well- wishers, yet his presence will forever remain in our hearts. Memories of the times spent with him will provide you with solace and comfort in this difficult hour.
