DC, Chumoukedima, Polan John, NCS, issues advisory that in view of the onset of monsoon, heavy to very heavy rainfall with thunderstorm is expected at several places across Nagaland. The low - lying and foothills area of Chumoukedima district is likely to experience flashfloods, inundated water logging and landslides.
Therefore, as a precautionary measures and in onder to avoid any eventualities, the general public of Chumoukedima are hereby advised and requested to refrain from going to landslide prone areas and avoid any water related activities.
Further, all concerned Administrative officers/HoDs/ Ward Authorities/ VDMA Chairman / Head GBs are hereby directed to be alert and take necessary precautionary measures to avoid the loss of life and damage to properties.
