The Deputy Commissioner, Niuland has informed to all concerned that there will be a mega plantation drive in the name of girl child (age 0 to 10 years) w.e.f 1^st February to 31^st March 2025 under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mission Shakti

In this connection, the DC informed that a total of 5 (Five) trees will be planted for each girl child (age 0 to 10 years) and date-time stamped photo along with name, date of birth of the girl child, name of the parent and name of the village shall be submitted through whatsapp to 6909803445. The applicants are informed to take care of the 5 (Five) planted trees throughout the year and send the final date-time stamped photos of the 5 planted trees to the same whatsapp number between 1^st to 15^th December 2025. It further informed that the winners of 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd will be awarded with cash prizes along with 20 (Twenty) consolation prizes, and the results will be declared on 20^th December 2025. The drive is applicable only for the citizens of Niuland District.
