The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto has announced that a District Level Awareness-cum-Campaign on the settlement of unclaimed deposits will be conducted on 15th December 2025 at 12:00 Noon at the Multipurpose Hall, Zunheboto.

The initiative aims to guide citizens on tracing and claiming their unclaimed financial assets, including insurance policy claims, bank deposits, dividends, shares, and mutual fund proceeds. On-the-spot assistance will be provided for updating records and completing claim procedures.

The Deputy Commissioner has called upon the following groups to participate actively in the programme.

1. All Village Council Chairmen and VDB Secretaries under Zunheboto district

2. Representatives from Zunheboto Town Council

3. The President, Sumi Kukami Hoho

4. The President, Zunheboto Town GBs Association

5. All concerned citizens.

The campaign is expected to enhance public awareness and streamline the process of recovering long-pending unclaimed financial assets for the benefit of the citizens.
