The Directorate of School Education has informed to all Head of Schools (both Government & Private) that no students should be denied admission due to non-availability of PEN (Permanent Education Number) and Aadhaar ID.

The school authority should sensitize the parents for enrolling their ward in the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre and submit the same to the school once enrolled in Aadhaar which is a mandatory field required for generation of the APAAR ID.

Further, for students without PEN, school can admit the student and submit their details to EBRCs as a missed-out student to be uploaded in the UDISE+ portal for generation of their PEN.
