In order to enhance data accuracy, reliability, real-time reporting, as well as to phase out fraudulent practices in the registration of Births and Deaths, the Department of Economics & Statistic Government of Nagaland has notified the transition to a 100% online registration of Births and Deaths in the State w.e.f. 01/06/2026. Accordingly, all registrations of Births and Deaths shall be carried out through the designated CRS ORGI Portal.

The Manual registration of Births and Deaths shall be iscontinueed across the State w.e.f 31/05/2026.

This supersedes Notification No. ES/RBD/1-146/2013 VOL-II/1252 dated 22/01/2025.
