The Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan inaugurated the exhibition stalls commemorating the 76th Republic Day in the presence of the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphui Rio and his colleagues, Chief Secretary, Dr. J. Alam, IAS, DGP, Rupin Sharma IPS and government officials at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima on the 26th January 2025.
Altogether, 17 stalls were set up representing various departments and displaying a variety of state products. The products include local grown organic vegetables like Kiwi, Job’s Tears from Khonoma village, Tapioca, Sweet Potato, White Yam, Eri Cocoons, Eri Silk Yarns, Raw Honey and etc.
Cooperative Department displayed their development activities and also sold products such as ornaments, bags etc. Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Department brought their organic products like pure cow ghee, eggs etc. Agriculture Department exhibited their portable machineries and also showcased the traditional tools. Marking the auspicious occasion, 13 Assam Rifles displayed different arms and ammunition.
While visiting the various stalls, Governor La Ganesan and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio encouraged the departments officials and commended them for their services and contributions.
