The Government of Nagaland Home Department has notified the Chief Minister and the following Ministers/Advisors and the Deputy Speaker who will unfurl the National Flag and take Rashtriya Salute on the occasion of Republic Day on 26th January, 2026 at the places shown against their names:

For ADC Headquarters/Sub Divisions not assigned to any dignitary, the local MLAs may attend the Republic Day function organised there and unfurl the National Flag and take the Rashtriya Salute on the occasion. And if they are unavailable, the respective administrative officers will unfurl the National Flag and take the Rashtriya Salute.
Further, Deputy Chief Ministers/Ministers/Advisors/ MLAs who are available in station may attend the Republic Day function in the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima.
