Chumlamo Humtsoe, ADC & CEO of Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC), Mokokchung, has informed all concerned that, the MMC is pleased to organize the 51^st Edition of Inter-ward Christmas Cake Race on 24^th December 2024, from 6:30 AM onwards at main police point Mokokchung Town.

 All wards are encouraged to actively participate in the cake race with a spirit of joy and peace by following the guidelines given below:

The race is exclusively open to legitimate residents of the Mokokchung Municipality’s different wards. 

Every participating team must have 2 (two) girls and 9 (nine) boys, for a total of 11 runners, with the first and second runners being female competitors only.

Name list of the participants duly signed by the ward authority in the format provided must be submitted latest by 20^th December 2024 to the technical committee.

All the participants are to report at the main police point at 6:00 AM.

Military, uniform personnel shall be debarred from participating in the race.

Crossing of lanes by the receiving partners (wherever marked or specified) and throwing of batons shall be disqualified.

Chest Nos. shall be determined by draw-of-Lot.

Certificates with Cakes shall be awarded to all the winners of 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd and Cakes to all the participating teams as consolation prizes.
