The National Road Safety Month was observed at Atoizu Town, Zunheboto under the theme "Parwaah Karenge, Surakshit Rahenge" (Will Take Care to Stay Safe) on 28th January 2025.
The event chaired by AEI, Zunheboto, N. Nchumbemo Kikon, begins with an invocation by Rev. Vikuto Katty, Pastor, SBAK, Atoizu Town followed by welcome address by EAC, Atoizu, Dr. Samuel Akho Konyak.
MVI, Zunheboto, Er. Akhamba Chang, spoke on "Road Safety Awareness" and a detailed presentation on "Violations and Penalties" was proposed by MVC, Zunheboto, Lanuyanger Ao. The program also witnessed healthy interactive session allowing participants to share their concerns and seek clarifications.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Atoizu Town Councillor, Er. Khehoto Chopy and a benediction pronounced by Pastor Khetoi Chopy, NCRC, Atoizu. The event saw participation from the District Administration, Police, Atoizu Town Council, Civil society organisations, vehicle owners, drivers, and local community.
