Rüsoma village, also known as the "Orange Village" under Kohima district is taking charge of the Angami Morung at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama during the 25th edition of the Hornbill Festival 2024. Tourists, visitors, and well-wishers are being served by them with local food items and beverages.

Hornbill festival is an annual event organised by the Government of Nagaland to showcase, promote and develop the rich Naga culture and traditions to the rest of the world. The tribal Morungs clearly depict the Naga way of life in the olden times and how it has continued to impact the present generation.

Nagaland is dubbed as the "Land of festivals" as none of the month in a year goes by without a tribal festival, and Hornbill festival is considered as the culmination festival in a year for the Nagas. It is celebrated at one common platform where every tribe used to participate with a yearlong planning and preparation.

During this time of festival, each tribe vividly and candidly showcases their cultural items, folk song and dances, traditional attires, cuisines etc.
