The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Chumoukedima, has requisitioned the Class-A Room of Government Middle School (GMS), Chumoukedima, for use as a polling station in connection with the Ward No. 11 bye-election of the Chumoukedima Town Council scheduled to be held on June 16, 2026.

According to an order issued by Deputy Commissioner, Chumoukedima, Polan John, NCS the requisition has been made in partial modification of an earlier notification regarding the conduct of the bye-election. The designated classroom will be utilized for polling and all related election activities on the day of the election.

The order further directed the Head Teacher of Government Middle School, Chumoukedima, to make the room available and extend all necessary cooperation to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the election process.
