The Office of the District Economics & Statistics Officer and District Registrar of Births and Deaths, Zunheboto has informed that a Special Drive on online registration and digitization of old manual Births and Deaths Certificates will be conducted across the district from February 5 to February 20, 2026.
The initiative is being carried out in pursuance of a directive issued by the department vide Circular No. ES/RBD/DSO-CORR/2/11 (PT-I), Kohima, dated January 31, 2026. The special drive will cover all registration units in the state, including those under Zunheboto district.
Therefore, the department has urged the citizens to participate in this online drive in order to ensure registration of Birth and death by visiting the District Registrar Office, Zunheboto.
The special drive aims to streamline records, improve accessibility and strengthen the digital database of vital statistics in the state.
