The office of the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur has issued a traffic advisory regarding the temporary closure of a key road stretch along NH-36.

According to the advisory, the road stretch below the Flyover along the Dimapur Railway Siding—from Blue Hill, Police Assistant Booth (PAB) to the exit point of the Flyover Y-Junction—will remain closed to all traffic from April 16th to April 30th, 2025.

The closure is necessitated by the impending construction and development of the existing two-lane pavement, which includes strengthening works using Dry Lean Concrete (DLC) and Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) from Km 160.000 to Km 166.880.

The Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, Kevithuto Sophie, IPS has urged all commuters to plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
